5. “Inside Out”: Would have never imagined in a million years just by looking at the trailer that this movie would have been in my top 5 favorite films of the summer. It is probably the best Disney/Pixar film since “Toy Story 3”. It has also one of the darkest stories that Pixar has ever told. And you thought “The Incredibles” had a dark tone!

 

4. “Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation”: Okay, seriously how old is Tom Cruise again? And where can I find this so called fountain of youth! Hands down one of the best action films of 2015 and possibly the most intense first act I’ve ever seeing in my life!

 

3. “Jurassic World”: Who doesn’t love Dinosaurs? I love Dinosaurs! Definitely brought great memories of me being 3 years old and experiencing “Jurassic Park” back in 1993 for the first time. Most people don’t really know this or somehow they seemed to lost track in time, but when the film got released they actually brought one of the Ford Explorer’s from the movie to my hometown in Puerto Rico. It was actually placed next to a Sam’s Club in Bayamón for a couple of months. Never understood why they did it, but apparently it was for a popular Puerto Rican show back then.

 

2. “Ant-Man”: No Zack, this film is not the flavor of the week, and you, sir have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about! I love this movie more than “Avengers: Age of Ultron”… And I’m not afraid to say it! This is the single greatest Marvel standalone movie since “Iron Man” in Phase 1!

 

1. “Mad Max: Fury Road”: A spectacular-jaw dropping, cinematic experience that leaves you asking for more. The editing was superb; the acting was top notch, pretty much a roller coaster ride. George Miller is still the king of action movies. Also say all you want about 3D movies, but this one was really well done. – Can’t wait for “Mad Max: The Wasteland”!
